Hedge Delivery & Freight
Delivery Overview
We deliver our hedges and pleached screens safely and efficiently using:
- Twining Valley truck – local deliveries
- Mainfreight – palletised deliveries to homes and other sites
- Rockeater Truck Services (or similar specialist plant carriers) – out-of-area deliveries
All deliveries are to the nearest safe drop-off point and do not include planting.
Because our hedges are fully grown and substantial (up to ~100 kg), please ensure:
- Clear vehicle access
- Two strong people on site to move hedges into position

Freight is quoted individually so pricing is accurate.
To prepare your quote, we need:
- Delivery address
- Total hedge length (metres)
- Preferred varieties
We’ll confirm the best delivery method and send you a customised freight quote.
Twining Valley Truck
- Local deliveries, mid-week only
- 9.5 m curtainsider truck with tail-lift. Requires 4.2 m height and 3 m width clearance
- Our driver will help place hedges where they’re easily accessible from the truck. Moving hedges to their final planting position is your responsibility.
Mainfreight
- Hedges are delivered wrapped on one-way pallets.
- Local Mainfreight driver unloads at the gate or nearest safe access point
- Each pallet can be heavy; two strong people are recommended to unwrap pallet and move hedges to planting site
- Fibreglass rod handles are removed for shipping; poles are included to help carry the hedges
Rockeater & Other Specialist Plant Carriers
- Used for deliveries outside our local truck range
- Large curtainsider trucks, unloading at gate or nearest safe access point
- As with all deliveries, two strong people should be available to move hedges safely.
Pick-Up from the Nursery
You’re welcome to collect directly from our nursery. Let us know what you’re after, and we can calculate the space you’ll need and arrange a pick-up time.
